What drives your passion for haircutting and styling, and how do you incorporate the beauty of individuality into your work?
“My passion for hair is rooted in my love for people. Being able to connect with clients is such a privilege because hair is deeply personal. For me, there’s nothing better than revealing something special that a client didn’t know their hair could do. Cutting hair can be joyful, thrilling, healing, and grounding. I love being a part of that experience for people!”

How do you innovate classic styles?
“I love taking inspiration from decades past and breathing new life into them. Vintage styles have always inspired me because they do have that timeless quality about them. I love blending past and current trends to suit my clients’ needs by making them functional and easy to style.”

Why is lifelong learning key for you?
“My goal is to be a perpetual student, especially in this industry. There is always so much to learn from people of all levels and backgrounds. Information is limitless, so I never want to limit myself and my capabilities!”

What’s your take on trends?
“As a pop culture girlie, I always love to have my finger on the pulse of trends, but I do believe in being centered in your personal style and picking and choosing elements that align with that to sprinkle in for fun! I don’t believe in forcing specific trends on anyone; they’re more of an opportunity to play around.”

What philosophy guides you?
“I truly think every person sitting in my chair is beautiful, and my ultimate goal is to enhance all the wonderful things they have going on.  I want to create a safe space where clients feel confident and comfortable embracing their individuality. There is never any shame in my chair; my goal is always to meet clients where they are at and make them feel radiant.”

What’s your mantra?
“You never know until you try! It’s good to try new things with your hair because you might surprise yourself with a new signature look. If not, it’s also good to know what doesn’t work for you in the future.”

What advice do you have for aspiring stylists?
“Do your best to take care of yourself so that you can show up and be present for your clients. Find a place that has the clientele you want and then focus on doing great work for them.”
