What drives your passion for hair styling, and how do you incorporate the beauty of individuality into your work?

“My drive comes from the feeling the client gives me at the end of any service. It has to be one of the most rewarding sensations I’ve ever felt. My individuality comes from my love for natural looks—I’m a low-maintenance gal who believes in enhancing natural beauty.”

Since joining RAW, how have you continued developing your hair styling skills and knowledge? Have there been any mentors or classes that have significantly impacted you?

“Working with talented individuals has allowed me to continue developing my coloring skills. I give all the credit to my amazing teacher, Stephen, for my styling. He has taught me a great deal about styling, product knowledge, and using an assortment of different tools correctly.”

What unique qualities do you bring to your work at RAW, and how do they influence your approach to hair styling?

“I’d describe my artistic perspective as inspired by nature and my love for color. I’ve always been drawn to the ability to evolve someone’s hair, which is how nature evolves. Life always finds a way. Unique qualities I bring are optimism, charisma, and humility.”

How do you push your personal boundaries in hair styling and foster a welcoming environment for your clients at RAW?

“I push the boundaries by always having a student-like mindset and never giving up.”

What are your future goals and aspirations for your career at RAW, and how do you plan to achieve them?

“My goals and aspirations for the RAW team are to excel in textured hair, as I have textured hair myself. I want people to be inspired by me as an example of what their hair can look like with the right hair approach & products. I’m looking forward to bringing amazing men’s cuts with a twist in barbering to the RAW team. I plan to achieve this by taking as many education classes on textured hair and barbering as I can get my hands on.”

What role has the RAW team played in your professional growth and success?

“Being a part of the RAW team has helped with my growth and success because they have provided me with the right tools and people to teach me the things I need to succeed in this field. I owe so much to Etoile for the opportunity she gave me and to Stephen for all the knowledge he has passed down.”

Can you share a personal experience that has significantly influenced your career goals in the hair industry?

“An experience that significantly shaped my creative approach and inspired my hair goals in the industry has to be that my mother has always been there to help me in life, and I one day want to do the same for her.”
